Job Description

Qualified individuals must be able to manage multiple tasks, such as:

  • Prepare internally generated commercial closing packages, modifications and administrative extensions, and checking files for completeness.
  • Perform computer-related work to establish loans online.
  • Coordinate and complete all due diligence, pre-closing, and post-closing conditions, including but not limited to OFAC checks, UCC filings, and condition tracking.
  • Prepare and process loan advances and payments for construction loans and lines of credit.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements for proper loan documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to Commercial Loan Officers in commercial loan origination and commercial loan servicing issues, including but not limited to: Loan Officer checklists, insurance and collateral requirements, commitment letters, interfacing with customers, and other functions assigned.
  • Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers as it relates to commercial lending.
  • Maintain online systems and internal reports, and prepare reports for management.
  • Maintain various daily, weekly, and monthly Commercial reports such as: Insurance tracking, UCC Expiration, Pending Documents, Colson Report (SBA), Past & Future Maturities, Life Insurance, and Summary of MTD Loan Activity.
  • Balance the Commercial Fees in the Process General Ledger account report.
  • Assist the Vice President – Loan Administration Manager with general Loan Administrative support in the following areas:
    • Conducting internal audits and regulatory compliance examinations.
    • Keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes (i.e., attending webinars/seminars as necessary, etc.).
    • Loan administration projects (i.e., new Loan Operating System (LOS) upgrades, etc.).
    • Loan department reports, including but not limited to: Month End Reporting, Rate Survey, and Quarterly Board Reporting.
  • Assist with loan department compliance management review in addition to assisting with CRA, HMDA and other regulatory reports as required.
  • Be responsible for all independent residential and commercial appraisal review functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred). Will consider High school degree and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Banking Loan Operations: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Document Management: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of commercial and real estate loan documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of all business types. (Corps, Trusts, LLP, LLC, etc.)
  • Knowledge of debit/credit transactions.
  • Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, loan software, and data center software required to perform this job successfully.
  • Familiarity with real estate appraisals a plus.
